Renovation/Alteration Request Form
Council receives many requests for home renovations or alterations. Homeowners are reminded that approval for any alteration must be given by the strata council before the renovation work begins.
To expedite the approval process complete and submit a Renovation/Alteration Request Form. Provide details of the proposed changes within the request form. Include a complete description for any changes that may impact the building envelope such as venting routes for HE furnace requests, window replacements, etc. Please also review the hazardous materials document that provides the results of a hazardous materials inspection performed in 2017 (below).
During a renovation or alteration please ensure contractors do not double park on the streets. All excess/disposal materials must be disposed of off site. Disposal of renovation or alteration materials is prohibited in the complex garbage bins.
Hazardous Materials Inventory Survey
- A hazardous materials inventory survey was completed in February 2017 by ACM Environmental. The findings from the survey conclude that asbestos, lead and other hazardous materials exist in some of the construction materials within the
complex. The materials are present in quantities of significance and are of
concern to any contractor or maintenance personnel involved in renovation or
repair activities within the complex. - The complete report is available for download:
