May 10, 2024 | WATER SHUT DOWN on Wednesday May 15, 2024
Altair Place, Lyra Place, Centaurus Circle & Centaurus Drive – all homes
The City of Burnaby requires annual testing of our Backflow Prevention Assemblies.

The testing is scheduled to take place on:
Wednesday, May 15, 2024, 9:00 am through 12:00 pm. The water will be shut down for approximately 15 minutes during this process.

You can prepare for a water shutdown by filling up pots and/or your bathtub with water.

Once the water has been turned on sediment in the supply lines could cause dirty water. Please run the tub faucet until it runs a bit clearer so as not to cause sediment build up and blockage to sink aerators.
